Swapping MMI 3G Navigation Plus hard-drive (by LoCal)

24.1.2010 - LoCal sent in this link that includes instructions from ZelvaBOi at AudiForum.us to swapping the MMI 3G Navigation Plus hard-drive to a new one. After cloning RAW data with Paragon Hard Disk Manager 2008 it reportedly works on a completely different hard-drive, although there is discussion of the temperature and vibration specifications required of the new drive for car use. Interesting at least for backup purposes.

The drive seems to be a Toshiba MK4036GAC automotive hard-drive.
